What We Believe

Covenant is a reformed and evangelical church, and a member of the Presbyterian Church in America.

We believe:

• In the Trinity; there is only one God, who exists in three persons
• The Bible is God's infallible and inerrant Word
• God, the Creator, is in perfect control of all things
• Man's sin has led to separation and alienation from God
• Jesus Christ, the Son of God, by virtue of His life, death, and resurrection, is the only true means of reconciliation and salvation for his people, the Church
• We are saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone
• The Holy Spirit alone is able to give new life in Christ
• God calls all people to love Him and to repent and believe in the Gospel
• The fruit of salvation is a life of grateful obedience to the Word of God under the Lordship of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit
• In the glorious return of Christ to confer upon His people the fullness of their salvation and grant them eternal in heaven.

Covenant Church accepts the Westminster Confession of Faith as the doctrinal standards of the church.
