Who We Are

Covenant has been a part of the Burtonsville community since 1968.  We’re a diverse body of believers who are committed to following Jesus Christ, and to the teachings of the Bible.  Our commitment to following Jesus and his teaching leads us into places where others might not go—into local prisons to teach prisoners, into the streets to help the homeless, into our local communities to assist single parents and others in need of God’s grace.

Our commitment also leads us to care for each other.  Every day of the week, the Covenant family is caring for members in need, providing Christian friendship, and praying for each other.  We are ordinary people, redeemed sinners, working together to serve our Lord.  Through Bible studies, small groups, and children and student ministry programs, our members are part of each other’s lives.

A few other things you should know about Covenant:

• We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), and a member of the Potomac Presbytery.

• We are a church for the community, located in the Saddle Creek neighborhood in Burtonsville, Maryland.

• We are delighted to welcome visitors and would love for you to make us your church home!
